well im thinking of turning on the auto pruning wich is that at a set amount of time the server will automatically delete posts that have not had any new replies in a set amount of time now I was not going to do this arbitrarily I would like your thoughts on this

I say maybe after the new year. For now a large post count, even of clutter, should make people think this place is "happening"

The only problem with auto pruning is it's not selective. Everything gets axed and in the event there is a thread that someone might want to refer to one day a year or so down the road, it won't be there to search for. I understand that there are limits on the amount of space you can take up but I wish there was a better way...

Well going through them one by one would certainly weed out the garbage from the potential threads that someone might want to refer to some day, but it's not very practical to do that!! Unless you have no job and can devote your entire day to it!

120 days is only 4 months, I dunno, seems like a pretty short time.
