I just went to the little convenience store to get a bag of pretzels because I needed something crunchy, the prices are a little inflated because we are out in a rural area but not badly, as I was picking up my pretzels I noticed the display with the candy bars, now that is something I have not bought in years so I was completely shocked to see a $1.29 price tag on a regular size Hershey bar, I mean Im not in the old age set yet but I dinstinctly remember that a damm Hershey bar was $.35-$.50 when I was a kid I mean WTF over a buck for a damm candy bar when did this happen?????

But in the 7-11's around here, candy bars are over $1.00.

never been to an AMPM i think. We have 7-11, circle k, Allsups, and then the pic quik (local chain).

as for price? dunnoo, i try not to look when I buy anything at gas stations. itd hurt too much

We dont really have any chain stores around here. Just exxon, shell, etc. There are some 7-11s in bigger cities. I think buckees are bigger around here. But the nearest one is like 45min away. lol.

our biggie is Circle K seems like there is one on every corner, we also have 7-11 AM/PM Vallero, Diamond shamrock, and Quick mart (local)

I always liked Allsups when I was driving through NM, almost all of their stores you can swing a 18 wheeler into the parking lot, also in OK and a few others the Quick trips are nice and the BP's are ok and there is one on the east coast ummm Sunoco IIRC that has very nice stations Laughing
