I was just wondering if there were any fellow geocacher's on here. If so what was the best one you found? For those of you who don't know what it is check it out the website www.geocaching.com. People go hide little boxes around town then get on this website and post the coordinates and clues to where it is. When you find it, there is a sheet where you sign your name and you can put something in it and put it back where you got it.
There are a couple in a park near my house. Im going to see if I could find some. _________________ Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile -Albert Einstein

I've never tried it, even when I had my Tomtom GPS.
It looks like they have a neat geocaching app for the iPhone according to your link. |

You have to make sure you read the kind of cache it is, lol. We looked all over for one and it turned out that is was the place, not an item. Pissed us off... _________________

Can you use a regular automotive style GPS for this?
I guess you need to bring something random to replace the item you take huh? _________________ If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.

I used my Garmin the first couple of times. You have to make sure you can put exact coordinates into the GPS. I then pulled out my older GPS handheld and used it. It made it a little more precise. _________________

Seems kinda neat. Are you suppose to take what is left and leave something in its place? _________________

I've never done this but it has gotten my interest. There is a huge park behind my house with a 5-10acre fen. I've gone to some geocaching sites and there are atleast 5 caches in the place. I may bust out the Garmin and take the kid for a nature walk one of these days. _________________
