I'm really bored so here's some pictures of me getting into some pretty serious off-roading action. And changing the oil. Heard Royal Purple should add at least 15RWHP, maybe 25 with the sticker. I'm waiting for the rest of the oil to finish draining. Laughing

And I did a shoop real quick but I don't really like how it turned out.

And it's 70 and sunny with clear skies, just thought I'd let you know. Twisted Evil

I used to use Mobil 1 Full Syn until I saw all those lawsuits and stuff and was like "why not pay a little extra and go with the best" lol.

I use Mobil 1 oil filters still though. But god fucking damn that one was a BITCH to get off. The ones before that weren't that hard to get off at all and I know for sure I didn't forget to put some oil on the O-ring.

I swapped from Mobil 1 in the motor to RP also. M1 started using a cheaper base stock and still charging the same prices, fuck that.

I could not find enough RP for the trans fluid flush and I was way up in Austin. I had to go to 2 different stores just to get enough M1 for the job.

Next trans flush will be with RP, I only do it every 50k, so I hope the truck last that long.

I cleaned my AF1 last weekend and re-oiled it. I also installed a new E-Fan because my primary burned out.

Getting it washed tomorrow and I hope to be done with it for a while

I'm probably going to give my truck a good wash after work, I have to leave in ten minutes and I still have two more quarts to put in lmao.

I'm at about 18,000 miles right now but when I replace fluids everything is going to be RP. Very Happy

I'm also thinking about doing E-fans, how much did it cost you to do it and did you build it on your own or buy a kit?

And I'll probably have to re-oil my S&B in a bit but it doesn't look bad at all since it's shielded. Here in AZ with all this damn dust I would hate to have an open filter.

Pat custom made a kit for me, we installed it together. Around $250-300 I think. I payed him extra to help install it

I agree on the filter location. Good news is with my fan shrouds gone I pop the hood and can reach right down and get it Laughing

Before that it was a bitch though.

I ran the motocraft blend for 36K, its pretty decent oil
