my neck hurts when I shave against when the hair is real short. but if I dont shave when it's short, wearing a tie bugs like crazy on a buttoned shirt

depends. Normally I shave with the grain. Less irritation.
Goin out for the night, usually against. Just to get that baby butt smooth face ! chicks love it...
And apparently so does Shines. He keeps hitting on me.

1) Yeah. If I'm not going out and/or wearing a tie, I'll shave every other day, or just won't shave if I don't have work.
2) When I do shave, I go for the "baby's butt" feeling

Shave with the grain to reduce irritation. If against the grain causes you irritation try going 90* sideways or even at a 45* angle. Also shave after you shower, put a hot towel on your neck and leave the shaving cream on for a minute or so before you start to soften the whiskers.

Oh yeah, anytime you shave the neck sharper is better! Do not attempt this with a blade that is near the end of its life or even halfway through.

I agree. You both should take the razors and swipe them at a 90* angle across the neck....
